Previously unreleased versions of Coldplay and U2 songs are amongst the tracks which will comprise a new charity album.
The album, entitled ‘Every Mother Counts Volume 2‘, has been put together by the model Christy Turlington Burns in aid of a campaign which aims to reduce maternal mortality rates.
Coldplay have contributed an acoustic version of their 2000 single ‘Yellow‘, while Bono and The Edge have given their acoustic take of ‘Original Of The Species‘. Eddie Vedder, Paul Simon and Sting are also among the acts included on the album, which will be available to buy in the US from May 1st-29th.
