Tribes Confirm Debut Album Details

London band Tribes have confirmed the details of their hotly-anticipated debut album ‘Baby‘.

Produced by Arctic Monkeys cohort Mike Crossey, the 11-track record will be released on January 16th next year and includes early EP favourites ‘We Were Children‘ and ‘When My Day Comes‘, as well as recent single ‘Sappho‘.




Tribes are due to hit the road from February 2012 along side Metronomy, Azealia Banks and Two Door Cinema Club as part of the annual NME Awards Tour. They will begin at the Glasgow Academy on February 8th, before moving on to cities such as Manchester, Leeds and Cardiff ahead of a final gig at the Brixton Academy on February 25th.

The Brixton Academy will also play host to the band when they take part in XFM’s Winter Wonderland on December 15th, appearing with We Are Augustines, Ben Howard, Miles Kane, The Maccabees, The Horrors and the Kaiser Chiefs.
