Pulled Apart By Horses will release their new single ‘V.E.N.O.M’ on January 16th 2012, and have also confirmed a series of UK dates shortly thereafter.

‘V.E.N.O.M’ is the first teaser from the Leeds band’s hotly-anticipated second album, which has been recorded with the highly respected Pixies and Foo Fighters cohort Gill Norton. It will be released on digital and 7” formats and is to be backed with two exclusive b-sides.

Talking about the sound of their new LP, Pulled Apart By Horses have outlined a fuller, bigger sound when compared to the manic, bare-bones intensity of their debut.

“Our debut was powerful, but it was done in no time at all,” says Lee Vincent. “Really it was an attempt to capture the energy and chaos of our live show. The new recordings sound fuller, bigger, more focused, the playing is better, we’re moving forward all the time. It’s got more balls too. Bigger balls. It’s direct and to the point. We’ve left nothing to chance.”

In February next year, the band will begin a UK tour at the Glasgow Kings Tuts on the 13th.
