Mark E. Smith and his latest band of Fall members will tour the UK from the end of next month in support of their 29th studio album ‘Ersatz G.B.‘, which is due for release on November 14th.
The band, which has been led by enigmatic frontman Mark E. Smith through many line-up changes since forming in 1976, will launch the tour with a show at the SWN Festival in Cardiff on October 22nd, moving north to the Leeds Stylus for a first show in November on the 2nd.
A gig in Scotland at Edinburgh’s HMV Picture House follows a day later, with a stop at London’s Indigo 2 wrapping things up on November 24th.
The release of ‘Ersatz G.B.’ follows last year’s well-received, Domino Records issued ‘Your Future, Our Clutter‘.
