Kasabian look set to be knocked off the top of the UK Album chart this Sunday, with midweek figures showing James Morrison‘s new record ‘The Awakening‘ usurping the Leicester band.

A re-mastered edition of Nirvana‘s ‘Nevermind‘, whose 20th anniversary has been celebrated in many forms over recent weeks, is on course for a Top 10 entry and sits at #4 on the midweeks, with Blink-182‘s latest LP ‘Neighborhoods‘ one place behind.

Another re-mastered classic, Pink Floyd‘s ‘Dark Side Of The Moon‘, could also be in the Top Ten on Sunday, being at no.7 today, while Adele‘s ‘21‘ could be at its lowest chart position for months, standing currently at #6.

Elsewhere, Wilco‘s ‘The Whole Love‘, their first studio album since 2009’s self-titled effort, will comfortably enter the Top 40, while new supergroup SuperHeavy are close to dropping out of the main chart.

UK Midweek Top 5:

1/ James Morrison – The Awakening
2/ Kasabian – Velociraptor!
3/ Ed Sheeran – +
4/ Nirvana – Nevermind
5/ Blink-182 – Neighborhoods
