The first wave of acts have been confirmed for this year’s CMJ Music Marathon, which will take place across New York this October.
Leading the initial raft of bands are the likes of the Mercury-nominated Metronomy, who received the nod for their ‘The English Riviera‘ album, which was released back in April this year, and acclaimed female songwriter Zola Jesus. Other notable acts include CSS, The Wombats and Sea Of Bees.
The event, which is expected to feature around 1,300 performances in over 80 venues in New York, will be held from October 18th-22nd. Organisers expect to announce more participants very shortly, with all the latest news being found at cmj.com.
