Mumford & Sons, Foo Fighters Nominated For 2011 MTV Video Music Awards

Mumford & Sons and the Foo Fighters have both landed nominations in the Best Rock Video category for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.

Mumford & Sons receive the nod for their scooter driving antics in ‘The Cave‘, while Foo Fighters’ typically light-hearted approach to ‘Walk‘ has secured their nomination.

Elsewhere, Foster the People‘s summer-tinged ‘Pumped Up Kicks‘ also has a place on the Best Rock section as well Best New Artist, while chart sensation Adele has places on the Best Pop Video, Best Female Video and Video Of The Year categories.

The 2011 MTV VMAs are due to take place on August 28th at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre.
