Alex Winston announces new EP ‘Velvet Elvis’, out September 13th on Island Records UK. “A 22-year-old Detroit singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, who is classically trained in opera but is causing a stir in the indie and pop worlds with her dizzying pipes and heartfelt lyrics.” SPIN

New London band The Dead Fronts, who have been building a loyal London fanbase with gigs across the city over the last couple of months, will be releasing ‘You And Me’ as a free download on 8th August. In the meantime they have produced this rather stunning James Bond esq video, which captures the rather hook frenzy hybrid of indie punk and surf rock.

‘Vomit’ is the first taste of Girls‘ forthcoming album ‘Father, Son, Holy Ghost’, which will be released in the UK on 12th September 2011 on Fantasytrashcan / Turnstile.
