What’s On Foo Fighters’ New 52-Page Rider?

Often used as a barometer to judge just how detached from reality your favourite band is becoming, the rock n roll rider has been known to demand everything from crates of beer to a bottle of water kept exactly at 12 degrees, if you don’t mind, over the years.

Now, US rockers the Foo Fighters have taken the concept to a new level by compiling a tongue-in-cheek, 52 page booklet outlining their own wishes for upcoming tour dates.

“The attached guide and its included activity pages are required reading for a successful Foo Fighters show,” the booklet reads.

“That said, read and colour carefully, you might get a T-shirt or a date with any one of our funny talking roadies. If we turn up and it’s ‘promoter pasta’ night in the hockey locker room, there MAY be an outbreak of burning cars in the employee parking lot.”

“Seriously, we’ve travelled a few hundred miles to your venue, to your town, to your special place. You want us to come back. We want to come back. Your town probably has hot chicks. What’s better than visiting and revisiting a town with hot chicks AND good food? Right?”

The joke document is reported to contain the Foo Fighters’ own recipe for ice and a ban on roast beef ‘unless you have slaughtered it yourself’ amongst other things.

Foo Fighters are due to play a series of festival dates, as well as their own headline shows, across the UK this summer.
