New York-based The Hold Steady have released details of a summer US tour, due to commence towards the end of August.
The dates will be kicked off in Milwaukee at the Turner Hall on August 24th, with shows in Chicago, Omaha, St. Louis, Louisville, Atlanta and Carrboro following during the remainder of August. The final date will be held at Washington’s 9:30 Club on September 1st.
The Hold Steady’s fifth studio album, ‘Heaven Is Whenever‘, was issued in the May of last year, and proved to be another strong collection of highly charged, classic-tinged rock n roll. It debuted at no.26 on the Billboard 200, and also broke the UK’s Top 75.
