The Killers will top the bill on the Friday night, with veteran Rod Stewart and Bon Jovi joining the Las Vegas band as headliners.
The news marks The Killers’ return to the UK after a prolonged break, during which time frontman Brandon Flowers released his successful debut solo album ‘Flamingo‘. In a message to fans following the announcement, drummer Ronnie Vannucci said: “It’s been too long, friends…Feels like forever since we’ve seen each other and now it’s time we pay a visit. Have to get the machine oiled and ready to make this kinda thing happen more often. Feeling creative, let’s do this.”
Tickets for Hard Rock Calling, which will be held over the same weekend as Glastonbury, are available to subscribers from 9am on April 20th.
This is great. I love the Killers and I will happen to be in London at that exact time. It would be interesting to see an American band when I ‘m in London, but whatever. I’m in!
