The Friends of Mine festival looks set to give the North West the summer music event it’s been waiting for with a first class list of bands and artists ready to perform, including Badly Drawn Boy, The Cribs and the Buzzcocks.

It’s FOM’s cult following and superb line-up that will give the event the best in new music for the full three days, showcasing some fantastic up and coming acts like Our Fold, Suzuki Method, The Paris Riots and Hatcham Social.

With the added appeal of Tim Burgess curating the main stage on the Sunday, and topping it off with a performance from The Charlatans to end the night, Tim will also be DJing along with Dave Haslam, Howard Marks and others at the House Party .

Just 14 miles south from Manchester, Friends Of Mine is set on the grounds of Capesthorne Hall and will take place over the weekend of May 20th-22nd and is shaping up to be one of the best festivals of the UK summer season.

Be sure to check back to Live4ever next month for some exclusive interviews from the best acts comprising this year’s Friends of Mine line-up.
