Foo Fighters and Paul Simon have been added to the list of acts due appear at this year’s series of free shows at the iTunes festival.
Paul Simon will open the month-long festival on the 1st of July at London’s Roundhouse venue, while the Foo Fighters are due to appear on the 11th. They join previously confirmed acts which include Beady Eye who take to the stage on the 3rd, current UK chart topper Adele (7th) and White Lies who are booked for the 13th.
The iTunes festival was initiated in 2007 when the likes of Travis, Stereophonics and Amy Winehouse appeared. In 2008 the event was expanded and staged at the KOKO in London, before moving to its present home in 2009 when Oasis, Bloc Party and Kasabian were amongst the performers.
