Arctic Monkeys and US superstar Eminem have been confirmed as headliners for this year’s V Festival, which will take place at the twin sites of Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of August 20th-21st.
Also appearing at the festival will be Primal Scream, adding another of their ‘Screamadelica‘ dates, along with other established British bands such as Manic Street Preachers, Kaiser Chiefs, and Ocean Colour Scene.
Speaking of the line-up, festival director Bob Angus said: “The breadth of accomplished talent performing throughout the weekend on the other stages is also something that we are very proud of, with heavyweight acts including Dizzee Rascal, Razorlight, Chase and Status and Duran Duran joining the party.”
V Festival is now in its fifteenth year and was headlined last year by Kings Of Leon and Kasabian, while The Prodigy and David Guetta topped the 4Music second stage.
Tickets for the event will go on sale at 9am this Friday (March 4th).
