The record, which contains 8 new tracks and is 38 minutes long, has been sent to fans who pre-ordered the album thekingoflimbs.com, with a statement on the site confirming: “With everything ready on their website, the band decided to bring forward the release by a day as there was no need to wait until the planned date of Saturday Feb 19 to deliver the music.”
The band have also released a new video for the track ‘Lotus Flower‘ via YouTube which can be viewed below, the first promo to be taken from the album. ‘King of Limbs‘ is the follow-up to 2007’s Mercury nominated ‘In Rainbows‘.
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke meanwhile was forced to cancel a scheduled appearance in Tokyo today after apparent security concerns.
