Get Your Track Played At La Roux Gig Thanks To Nissan Juke

Nissan have joined forces with electronic duo La Roux to offer fans the chance of studio time with Ben from La Roux, as well as transport, accommodation and VIP tickets to their show at the Koko on April 5th which is to be streamed live by Spotify, all to celebrate Nissan’s new compact crossover vehicle, the Nissan Juke.

To enter the ‘Behind the Hit’ competition, music lovers must use the online tools provided adServerat this link to create and submit their own unique track, with the winning entry being played for the first time during La Roux’s DJ set at their Koko gig.  There will be two levels of production for those who enter – a simple tool for those just getting started, and an advanced one for those who feel ready to create a truly professional track.

Commenting on the campaign, Andy Jackson, Online Marketing Manager Nissan GB said: “Nissan Juke is a massive success story, creating a new car category through bold design and innovation, an energetic fusion of hatchback agility and SUV strength. We’re looking for an infectious uplifting track that reflects the Juke’s character and position as an energetic compact crossover. The kind of song that, when you hear it as you drive through the city, sets the mood for the whole night ahead.”

“The aim of this campaign is to get across Juke’s infectious energy.  We wanted something that would allow our audience to engage, and to create an environment for users to share and attempt something new with Nissan.”

Entrants will be able to vote for the mixes they like the best, with the 10 tracks which receive the most votes in both the simple and advanced categories winning two exclusive VIP tickets to La Roux’s Koko event.

Commenting on their involvement, Ben Langmaid of La Roux said “We’re looking forward to it, we think it’ll be great to hear what people are coming up with. Maybe we  will have a few disagreements on who we think should be the winner, I’m sure there’ll be a discussion, but we’re looking forward to hearing everyone’s tracks”

The overall grand prize winner will be chosen from the earlier group of 10, and will receive the aforementioned studio time, transport and accommodation.
