On February 1st, ‘Live Forever‘, the last Bob Marley concert ever recorded is to be released, giving fans the first taste of this never-before-heard concert.

Recorded 30 years ago at the Stanley Theatre, Pittsburgh, PA, on September 23rd 1980 as Bob Marley toured his ‘Uprising‘ album, ‘Live Forever‘ features some of the reggae legend’s best known hits, such as ‘No Woman No Cry‘, ‘Jammin‘, and ‘Is This Love‘.

Also appearing on this new collection will be ‘Redemption Song‘, a track which has since become one of Marley’s seminal anthems, and has been covered by artists across the musical landscape, from Rihanna and the Dave Matthews Band to Stevie Wonder and Chris Cornell.

Commenting on Bob Marley’s music and legacy, his widow Rita Marley said: “Bob’s music has always conveyed a message of hope, unity and love. It has brought countless people together as it did that night 30 years ago in Pittsburgh. To hear that music today and to be able to share it with a new generation shows that Bob is as relevant today as he was 30 years ago.”
