As widely predicted, Kings Of Leon have enjoyed huge sales this week to top the UK Album chart with their fifth studio effort ‘Come Around Sundown’. The album knocks Robbie Williams’ Greatest Hits collection down one place to #2. Remastered editions of The Beatles’ seminal collections ‘1962-1966 (The Red Album)‘ and ’1967-1970 (The Blue Album)’ are both new entries in the top ten, at no.6 and no.4 respectively. In the Singles chart, Bruno Mars’ track ’Just The Way You Are (Amazing)’ climbs one place to take this week’s UK number one.
Former UB40 frontman Ali Campbell is on top of the UK Indie Album chart this week, with The xx‘s Mercury-winning debut still holding strong at #2. In the UK Indie Singles chart, Adele again swaps places with Katy B to claim the number one spot.
