Klaxons To Release New Single, Extend UK Tour

London-based Klaxons are to release the second single from their recent studio album ‘Surfing The Void‘ at the end of this month, and have also added two additional dates to their upcoming November UK tour.

‘Twin Flames‘ is out on October 25th, and follows the release of lead single ‘Echoes‘ last August, while the extra dates for their UK tour will come in Cambridge and Oxford.

‘Surfing The Void‘ is the follow-up to the band’s 2007 Mercury-winning debut ‘Myths Of The Near Future‘, and has been generally praised by critics for displaying a more mature sound, after a first recording of the album was reportedly rejected by their record company. Acclaimed rock producer Ross Robinson has been credited with the change of sound, with the BBC declaring him ‘an inspired choice, his way with skull-crushing density ‘roiding up Klaxons’ sound like a muscle mary.’

Klaxons’ UK and Ireland tour will begin in Manchester on November 11th, before finishing in Dublin on the 23rd.
