Junip, the Gothenburg Sweden-based rock trio – fronted by acclaimed singer/songwriter/guitarist José González – debuts Fields on NPR’s ‘First Listen’ today. Fields can be heard in its entirety via our NPR player through the September 14th release date.The early critical response to the band has been glowing.

Junip was formed in the late ’90s by drummer Elias Araya, singer and guitarist José González, and organ and moog player Tobias Winterkorn.

Junip will be bringing their intimate atmospherics back stateside in the fall. The complete itinerary is below. The opening band for all the dates except Washington, DC and New York will be Sharon Van Etten.
