It is set to be one of the most interesting releases of the year. Will Kings Of Leon’s upcoming new album ‘Come Around Sundown‘ follow the trend set by their massive selling fourth album ‘Only By The Night‘, or will they return to the more lo-fi roots of their earlier records?

Well, it seems if the reports of a slightly less accessible sound fails to produce the runaway sales enjoyed by ‘Only By The Night‘, the members of the band themselves will not be losing any sleep as, according to Caleb Followill, they are ‘plenty rich’ already.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper after their headline shows at the recent V Festival, frontman Caleb revealed the band are relaxed about their future as they have enough in the bank at this stage of their career. “We’re already plenty rich, we don’t need it. We’re like thousand-aires, multiple thousands, multiple,” he said. “This record has got a little bit of every record we’ve ever made to this point.

And all the people that only know us from the last record, which is quite a few people, we wanted to show them a little bit of our background and the kind of music that we’ve been trying to make all the while.”

Come Around Sundown‘ is set to be released in the UK on October 18th, and a day later in the US.
