Bombay Bicycle Club have reacted positively to comments made by Liam Gallagher in his chat with Live4ever last March. During the interview, Liam said of the group: “Bombay Bicycle – they can fuck off with that name for a start.” In response, Bombay Bicycle Club have told XFM that they are simply ‘happy to be on his radar’: “We were thinking about changing the name of our band before he said those things. It was a quick solution. We didn’t think we’d ever have to worry about it or defend it – we were playing a gig and we just needed a name. It’s a good thing to be insulted by Liam Gallagher. We’ve made it now. We’re on his radar. He doesn’t say anything nice about bands. It’s good to get a mention.”

Arcade Fire a previewing a short clip of their new 12″ ‘The Suburbs/Month Of May’ on their official website. The service is intended to be a celebration of Dio’s life for fans and various hotels in the area will be offering special rates for his fans who travel to LA for the service.
