The re-issued version of The Rolling Stones’ seminal 1972 release ‘Exile On Main St.‘ has won the race to top this week’s Album Chart, beating Faithless to the no.1 position, and in the process handing the veteran band their first chart-topper since 1994. German covers band The Baseballs have entered at no.4 with their record ‘Strike‘, and LCD Soundsystem’s well received third studio LP ‘This Is Happening‘ debuts at #7. Last week’s no.1, Keane‘s 8-track EP ‘Night Train‘, drops to number six.
