When it comes to unadulterated pure rock ‘n’ roll, you need to have the swagger of course, but the tunes also shouldn’t go a miss. Midlands own Century Man tick all the boxes for a classic and forward thinking rock band.

With a driving force of energetic guitar and soaring vocals, Century Man create just this frenetic and powerful noise that heads straight to the soul. They currently have a single out which you can download now called ‘Marauder‘. I have heard that song now a few times and after every listen it still hits me with some almighty punch to the gut! Vocalist Craig, doesn’t let up either, the guy has more swagger than you can shake a Liam Gallagher at.
It’s fire in your belly classic rock ‘n’ roll, but it’s the interesting melodic hooks that set them apart from the usual suspects. With their sensibilities firmly sat in a psychedelic era, they create this compelling sound that not only reminds you of bands such as The Enemy or Kasabian, but also elements of ‘Nuggets‘ era bands too. Recently touring with Twisted Wheel on parts of their UK tour, has seen them gain critical acclaim from journalists and DJ’s around the country. Not only that, they have played gigs with bands such as White Lies, Athlete and Airborne Toxic Event, just to name a few.
