Biffy Clyro’s new album is set for release through 14th Floor Records on November 9th. “Only Revolutions” will be preceeded by the athemic new single “The Captain“on the 26th of October.

The album will also include the other Top 10 singles “That Golden Rule“, which enjoyed the Radio 1 A list for five weeks up top and “Mountains” which became the band’s biggest selling single to date as it debuted at #5 and sold over 100,000 copies. Jools Holland recently featured the band on his “Later with Jools Holland” show as the band announced their return to the top.

“Only Revolutions” is a further step up for the trio coming after their mammoth success with album #4 “Puzzle“, which entered the charts at #2 and solidified the band’s top contender position in rock’s highly competitive world.

The latest album was recorded in Los Angeles with famed producer/mixer pairing GGGarth  Richardson (Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Andy Wallace (Coldplay, Nirvana). Oscar and Grammy-winning composer David Campbell from “Broke Back Mountain” fame and who has worked with legendary talents including Marvin Gaye, Bob Dylan, Metallica and Radiohead contributes lush orchestration throughout . Queens of  The Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has a guest appearance on the epic stand-out anthem ‘Bubbles’.
