Primal Scream will join the likes of Spiritualized and DJ David Holmes at the Galway Arts Festival Big Top on July 24 – likely to be one of the bigger summer events.
Primal Scream’s most recent album, Beautiful Future, was released last July, and the Mercury Prize winners have not been strangers to the emerald isle; they’ve a reputation for performing in Ireland frequently.
Spiritualized are also known to Irish concert-goers as regulars of the country, having played there three times in 2008.
Also slated to perform at the event is Femi Kuti, whose afrobeat sounds will be heard from the Big Top stage two days before the aforementioned headliners will perform. Bon Iver, David Gray, David Kit, and the Kronos Quartet are also confirmed to perform.
The festival will take place July 13 thru 26, and tickets priced from €30- 45 are already on sale.
