West London based indie rockers The Vaccines stopped in New York to rock mid sized Manhattan club Terminal 5 on Thursday Night (01/31) as part of their 2013 North American tour. Front-man Justin Young and band did not disappoint and treated the young crowd to a high energy 18 song set jammed into a little over an hour -we were in the pit for you to cover the action. The RockNess Festival has announced its first participants for this year’s event, with The Maccabees and The Vaccines confirmed on the bill.

The Primavera Sound festival has revealed its 2013 line-up, with the returning Postal Service and Blur both set for appearances at the Barcelona event.

Newly added Guns N’ Roses, Kings Of Leon, Bloc Party and The Vaccines are just some of the acts who will be performing at the third annual Governors Ball in New York this coming June.

London band TOY, whose line-up includes past members of the last decade’s short lived curiosity Joe Lean & The Jing Jang Jong, have confirmed the details of the latest single to be taken from their 2012 self-titled debut.

The Maccabees and The Vaccines have landed nominations in both the major categories for this year’s NME Awards, which will be held in London on February 27th.

The Vaccines have announced a one-off gig at the Joiners in Southampton on January 22nd in a bid to aid the struggling venue’s future.

The Vaccines have come out in support of reality shows such as the X Factor, saying they hark back to the grand variety tradition of the 1950s and 60s.

The Vaccines have added a series of additional UK tour dates around their previously announced headline gig at the O2 Arena in London on May 2nd.
