Let’s be honest. There’s not much in the way of positivity at the moment. In the news, in the papers; not many stories which cause a smile to play across your face. The music industry isn’t much better. Decline in sales, no-one’s going to gigs, bands can’t get their songs heard – it’s enough to make even Ken Dodd lock himself in a darkened room and wonder what the point of it all is. Thank goodness then for The Boxer Rebellion. Thank goodness for a bit of inspiration.

London based quartet The Boxer Rebellion have been talking through their follow-up to 2009′s greatest success story ‘Union‘, declaring the new record as ‘more laidback’ than their acclaimed second album.

London-based rock quartet The Boxer Rebellion is excited to offer opening song “No Harm” from their soon-to-be-released third album titled The Cold Still for download. “No Harm” is a track that highlights the band’s elegant musicianship and frontman Nathan Nicholson’s soaring and captivating vocals throughout. London-based alt-rock quartet The Boxer Rebellion will release their third studio album, THE COLD STILL this coming week in the UK and States.

Known for masterminding independent labels Creation Records and Poptones, Alan McGee’s name has perhaps secured greater household prominence above the controversy of his various credentials.

The households of which we speak are far removed from the nuclear or even reconstituted archetypes – but rather that of the bohemians, the alternatives, the students and the unemployed. And the controversy he has been attached to is that raised by rowdy seniors Oasis, and their beneficiaries the Libertines.
