Stereophonics have said one of the reasons they decided to not release a ‘trilogy’ of albums was because of the perceived lack of success experienced by Green Day‘s similar plan.

The Stereophonics are one of the first bands to have signed up for a special Golden Age Of The Album series on BBC Radio 2 which will see them play a part in the re-recording of The Beatles‘ 1963 debut long player ‘Please Please Me‘.
