Welsh band the Stereophonics have confirmed three UK dates as they continue work on a new album.
The short tour will begin next month at Bournemouth’s O2 Academy on December 17th, with a three-date stop at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire following from December 19th-21st.

Welsh stars Stereophonics have released further details of their two scheduled gigs at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.
The group are set to l play their first two albums, 1997’s ‘Word Gets Around’ and 1999’s ‘Performance and Cocktails’, in full at the two special shows on October 17 and 18. Both albums will be re-released on October 18.

Stereophonics are slated to play the inaugural concert of the newly built, super modern, Cardiff City stadium, on Saturday June 5th. The 32,000-seater is home to Cardiff’s football and rugby teams, as well as being used by the Welsh national football side but in the summer of 2010 it will be home to one of Britain’s finest, Stereophonics.

Ian Brown‘s new album ‘My Way‘ is released this week. The album has already spawned hit single ‘Stellify‘, and has been hailed as his strongest solo album to date. Elsewhere, US band Alice In Chains release their first album since 1995 – ‘Black Gives Way To Blue‘ is out on the 29th.
