With the recent demise of indie heroes, Supergrass, the mantel can now be officially passed down to the Mystery Jets, who may have their own take on the art of the ‘indie pop’ song, but fill the Oxford boys shoes quite comfortably, if not from a point of slight inferiority. Tunes laden with hooks, glimmers of quirkiness, and perfect for filling a dancefloor – that’s what they do best at the moment and new single ‘Flash A Hungry Smile‘ ticks all of those boxes.
Mystery Jets have revealed the details of their forthcoming third studio album.
Out on July 5th, the new record will be called ‘Serotonin‘, and has been produced by Chris Thomas, who has worked with many classic acts throughout his long career including The Beatles, the Sex Pistols and Pink Floyd.
