UKĀ  chart sensation Adele has revealed she would like to collaborate with folk-rockers Mumford & Sons.

The two British acts have enjoyed significant success of both sides of the Atlantic this year, and Adele has now said she would love to sing on a future Mumford & Sons track.

Mumford & Sons receive the nod for their scooter driving antics in ‘The Cave‘, while Foo Fighters’ typically light-hearted approach to ‘Walk‘ has secured their nomination.

Glastonbury Acts Dominate UK Album Chart

Artists who enjoyed successful shows at last weekend’s Glastonbury festival feature heavily on this week’s UK Album chart, with Sunday headliner Beyonce topping the charts with new album ‘4‘.

UK newcomer Jessie J, who performed at Worthy Farm with a broken foot, climbs to #6, while Mumford & Sons, whose Friday set enjoyed significant coverage on the BBC, climbs nine places to re-enter the Top 20 (#17). Elsewhere, other Glastonbury performers including Cee Lo Green and Noah & The Whale also enjoyed a sales boost this week.

Arcade Fire Cap Phenomenal Year With Huge Hyde Park Gig

Arcade Fire played their biggest ever headline UK show to date last night (June 30th), performing a hit-laden set to around 60,000 fans at London’s Hyde Park.

The show comes just under twelve months since they released third studio album ‘The Suburbs‘ and headlined the 2010 Reading/Leeds festivals, a move which caused some at the time to question their bill-topping status.
