Miles Kane performed a large chunk of his forthcoming second solo album during a hometown gig at the Liverpool Zanzibar last night (May 16th).

The High Flying Birds front man plainly admitted to NME that he doesn’t want to be working all the time and that’s why he turned down both projects.
Hot off the back of his triumphant performance at the NME Awards tour, Miles Kane takes his blistering live act back on the road for what is set to be an unmissable eleven date tour. With his fiercely dynamic four-piece band, Miles is set to continue his assault on the UK.

Miles Kane has described his forthcoming second solo album as taking its chief sonic inspiration from the past single ‘Inhaler‘ and being, ‘Upbeat, heavy and catchy’.

The Courteeners, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Miles Kane are just some of the many acts to have joined the T In The Park line-up for 2013.
Miles Kane has premiered the video for his new single ‘Give Up‘, which leads a four-track EP that also includes ‘Woman’s Touch‘, ‘The Competition‘ and the aforementioned video, and is due for release next month. The promo can be viewed below.
Miles Kane will unveil a glimpse of the fruits of his sessions with Kid Harpoon and The Lightning Seeds‘ Ian Broudie next month with the release of a four-track EP.
