Garbage singer Shirley Manson has claimed the music industry is ‘a shell of what it once was’ due to it being slow to adapt to the sweeping changes within the music world during the past decade.

Garbage frontwoman Shirley Manson has said the band felt they were ‘stuck with a record label who didn’t give two flying shits’ about them before leaving Geffen Records a few years back.

Garbage will hit the road this April ninth in support of their forthcoming new album Not Your Kind Of People by performing several headlining shows in the United States as well as various festivals throughout Europe with more dates to be announced over the coming weeks. In addition, the group will perform at the recently announced KROQ Weenie Roast on May 5th in Los Angeles.
