Three new entries in the top 10 of the Album Chart this week, with Paul Weller’s well received new studio album pipped to the number one spot by AC/DC’s new Iron Man soundtrack, which contains classic tracks from the veteran band’s long career. The other new entry comes from singer-songwriter Kate Nash, who’s second record ‘My Best Friend Is You‘ debuts at #8. Elsewhere, Paolo Nutini, Lady Gaga and Florence & The Machine all retain their long-standing hold on the top 10. Manchester legends James‘ new mini-album ‘The Night Before‘ lands at #20. In the Singles Chart, former X Factor contestant Diana Vickers is this week’s number one.

Kings Of Leon’s smash-hit fourth album ‘Only By The Night‘ has been confirmed as the UK’s highest selling digital record, after shifting over 250,000 units since it’s release in 2008.
Florence Welch has insisted she doesn’t feel under any pressure while writing the follow-up to her debut album ‘Lungs‘, and is more relaxed at this stage of her career. “I don’t feel pressurised at all,” she said. “The live situation is similar to the record situation; I felt pressure towards the first album. The second feels like a release. I’ve got new ground to cover, whereas the first was just scary.”
