Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster will return in May with their first album since 2005.

Called ‘Blood and Fire‘, it will be released on May 17th and is set to be preceded by first single ‘Love Turns To Hate‘  on May 10th.

After forming in Brighton in 1999, the band became part of the so-called New Rock Revolution in 2002 when they released their debut album ‘Horse Of The Dog‘, which featured the single ‘Psychosis Safari‘ which hit the UK Top 40 in July 2003. ‘The Royal Society‘ followed in 2004, after which guitarist Andy Huxley left the band. The group returned last year with a new EP entitled ‘In The Garden‘, which was released in September.
