The Download Festival has added over 30 acts to its 2013 bill, with the likes of Korn, Enter Shikari and Cancer Bats leading the raft of new names.
Cancer Bats have announced a March 2013 UK tour, when support will be provided by Brutality Will Prevail and Empress.
Harcore rockers Cancer Bats have revealed an unlikley source of inspiration for their new album – folk band Fleet Foxes.
The Canadian band will release their fourth studio album, ‘Dead Set On Living‘, next year, and frontman Liam Cormier has said despite their heavy rock leanings, the Cancer Bats are not afraid to look elsewhere for influence when they write new material.
Barely a month ago when the hotly tipped Dinosaur Pile-Up rolled through this venue the obscenely shy turnout didn’t bat an eyelid. You’d have been lucky to leave with eyelids last night after Cancer Bats came knocking on the door of Stoke’s Sugarmill.
Taking to the sacred acres of Donington last weekend was Download 2010, the annual metal mass which this year raised hell in celebration of thirty years since the inaugural Monsters of Rock.
