Elsewhere, Coldplay‘s ‘Mylo Xyloyto‘ holds strong at #8, and Noel Gallagher‘s debut solo album ‘Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds‘ is a non-mover at no.14, while outside the Top 20, The Black Keys‘ ‘El Camino‘ debuts at #29.

Pulp frontman Jarvis Cocker has said he believes the conduct of the UK’s tabloid press, a subject of close scrutiny during recent months, played a part in the death of Amy Winehouse last summer.

One of the producers behind the forthcoming posthumous Amy Winehouse album ‘Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures‘ has defended the project, and insisted the album will be ‘faithful to her legacy’.
The Guardian reports Salaam Remi as telling a listening party in the Soho district of London that the record is intended to highlight the positive side of Winehouse’s short life, as the media continues to dwell on the drink and drug problems which dogged the singer after the release of ‘Back To Black‘ in 2006.

Entitled ‘Amy Winehouse Lioness: Hidden Treasures‘, the record will be issued on December 5th, and is to comprise 12 tracks, including covers of The Shirelles‘ ‘Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow‘, Donny Hathaway‘s ‘A Song For You‘ and Ruby & The Romantics‘ ‘Our Day Will Come‘.
