JARV IS… have created an eight-minute, green screen version of their House Music All Night Long single.

It’s a new version of the track which had introduced the debut album for Jarvis Cocker‘s project when it was due to be released last month; Beyond The Pale is now set to come out in September, while UK tour dates were also moved to a different time. “As you know JARV IS… should have been on tour now,” Cocker wrote on Instagram. “We have been experimenting with Green Screen Technology to try & beam ourselves into your living rooms.”

Also in JARV IS… are Serafina Steer, Emma Smith, Andrew McKinney, Jason Buckle and Adam Betts, who all made their first live appearance at Sigur Ros’ Norður og Niður festival in Iceland in 2017.

Recordings from subsequent live appearances were later worked on with overdubs and additional vocals at Narcissus Studios in London, and more post-production and mixing, to create an album which Cocker has described as ‘alive’ rather than ‘live’.
