It took a few goes, but Kanye West finally got his new album Jesus Is King out on October 25th, and he’s now shared a video for its Closed On Sunday track.
In the end, the album came out on the same day the documentary of the same name premiered at select IMAX theaters – filmed last summer, the documentary followed Kanye and his group of musicians as they performed songs from Jesus Is King at the Roden Crater, the base of a new installation from James Turrell in Arizona’s Painted Desert, while there was more filming at West’s ranch outside Cody, Wyoming.
Despite mixed reviews, Jesus Is King went to number one across the world, hitting the top spot in the US, UK, Australia and Canada to name a few.
