Coldplay have confirmed they’ll release a double album entitled Everyday Life on November 22nd.

Split into two parts, Sunrise and Sunset, the album was rubber-stamped by the band on social media with a picture of the letter which had first alerted fans to the potential release earlier this week. “For the last 100 years or thereabouts we have been working on a thing called Everyday Life,” it reads.

“In the classifieds you might write ‘double album for sale, one very careful owner’. One half is called ‘sunrise’, the other ‘sunset’. It comes out 22 November.”

“It is sort of how we feel about things. We send much love to you from hibernation.”

This’ll be Coldplay’s first studio release since A Head Full of Dreams of 2015, a seventh consecutive UK number one which featured collaborations with the likes of Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher and Tove Lo.
