There’s an appetizer for those who’ll be taking in a Foo Fighters show at a festival somewhere around the world this summer in the form of a three-track live EP entitled 00950025.
Two of the recordings, Wattershed and For All Crows, take us way back to the band’s Reading Festival appearance in 1995 not long before they’re due back there again to headline next month, while Next Year was recorded in 2000 in Melbourne, Australia.
Among the other festival bookings for Foo Fighters is an appearance at Glasgow Summer Sessions on August 17th. “To welcome Foo Fighters to Bellahouston Park for the first time is so exciting for music fans all over Scotland,” organiser Geoff Ellis said.
“They are, to this day, one of the best festival headliners in the world. With their outstanding back catalogue, this is bound to be an unmissable show.”
