The build-up to Ian Brown‘s first solo album since 2009’s My Way has continued with its new single From Chaos To Harmony.

The track follows on from the release late last year of the cover of Barrington Levy’s Black Roses and lead First World Problems as Brown prepares to put out Ripples on March 1st.

As well as the Levy cover, there’s also a take on Break Down The Walls by Mikey Dread and three songs co-written with his sons, with Ripples set to also become Brown’s first record since the Stone Roses reunion was confirmed in 2011.

It was hoped by 2016 we’d have been talking about a new album from the band too thanks to the All For One and Beautiful Thing singles, but despite the next summer bringing more huge outdoor stadium shows, the frontman could be found on stage at Hampden Park in Glasgow as those came to an end encouraging the crowd to not be sad it’s over, but ‘happy that it happened’.
