Idles, Circa Waves and Little Comets are some of the first acts to be confirmed for next year’s Handmade Festival.
More early names on the event’s line-up are Dinosaur Pile Up, Protomartyr, Future Of The Left, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly and The Orielles, who’ll all be performing at the O2 Academy in Leicester between May 5th-6th. “This year’s line-up is a big step up for Handmade and an important one for us to take,” co-organiser John Helps enthuses.
“We want this year’s festival to challenge people’s expectations of what Handmade can be and what we can do with a ‘DIY’ city festival. We hope people are just as excited about it as we are.”
Idles will keep the momentum of their debut album Brutalism going well into 2018 with this announcement adding to their biggest headlines shows to-date which are due in April, and an appearance at Liverpool Sound City the same weekend as Handmade.
