The National and The xx are the first headliners confirmed for a new ten-day event at Victoria Park in London next year.

The All Points East festival will take place between May 25th-June 3rd 2018, with The xx first up on Saturday, May 26th and The National booked for June 2nd, supported by The War On Drugs and Future Islands.

“After a thrilling four sold out shows at the Eventim Apollo in September, we are excited to take over Victoria Park next summer,” they say.

“We are already thinking about ways to make this more than just a show.”

The opening weekend of music will be followed by four days of comedy, food, outdoor cinema and more before the focus goes back on live bands via three standalone, headline shows.

“We are thrilled to be able to launch this new festival concept and bring some of the world’s most exciting artists to Victoria Park,” Jim King of AEG Presents remarks.

“With a new three day music festival followed by a programme of midweek events offering open access to the local community all culminating in three huge standalone shows, we’re confident that this is the most exciting new event in the country.”
