Django Django have fired the starting gun on their next album Marble Skies with the release of its new single Tic Tac Toe.

The track is shared with a video directed by John Maclean, who remarks: “The film could be about the fading era of the beach arcades, time moving too fast, love and games, horror and happiness. But it is actually about a man who needs to go buy a pint of milk to make a cup of tea.”

Details emerged about the band’s follow-up to Born Under Saturn in Mojo last August, when the publication reported that sessions had been held ‘in a warehouse in Tottenham’, packed with ‘drums, synths and beatboxes’. “It’s where we all come to just mess about,” Dave MacLean said in the article.

“You can do what you want to do without worrying about clock-watching or studio fees. To me, the last album felt a bit bloated.”

A release date has now been set for January 26th next year.
