Spotify has revealed its 20 most streamed bands in the rock genre, and Coldplay are leading the way.
Apparently yesterday was the, ahem, International Day Of Rock N Roll, and to mark this clearly auspicious occasion Spotify opened up on the finer details of its own loose definition of rock, with Twenty One Pilots in second place and the enduring popularity of The Beatles enough to have them in third.
There’s more undoubtedly classic rock in the form of Pink Floyd, AC/DC and The Rolling Stones in the Top 20.
