Damon Albarn has unveiled the first of the ’40 to 45 songs’ which didn’t make it on to Gorillaz‘ Humanz album. A video for Sleeping Powder is below.
Albarn was quick to discuss the mass of unused material which he had accumulated during the time between this record and The Fall, telling Zane Lowe that there’s enough to keep him ‘in the game for at least another 18 months’.
The Demon Dayz festival is due to be held in Margate this weekend (June 10th) with a full tour of the UK and Europe following in November.
