Items which have made up The Jam‘s About The Young Idea exhibition will be sold off at auction on Friday the 7th and Saturday the 8th of October.

The auctioneers hammer will come down at Liverpool’s Cunard Building – where the exhibition has been held since July 1st and is due to conclude on September 25th after moving from Somerset House in London – giving fans an opportunity to get hold of ‘dream keepsakes’ according to Adam Partridge Auctioneers and Valuers auctioneer, Chris Surfleet.

“This is an unbelievable collection and some of the lots will be dream keepsakes to fans of the band and fans of British music,” he said.

Curated by Paul Weller‘s sister Nicky, the exhibition has been displaying various memorabilia items donated by the three former Jam bandmates, and their families and friends.
