Bloc Party will be spending a second evening at the Roundhouse in London early next year.

Added to the original gig there on February 10th is another on the 11th – both are on sale as we speak.

They’re some of the biggest gigs for Bloc Party since the release of ‘Hymns‘ earlier this year marked a new era for the band after Justin Harris and drummer Louise Bartle replaced Gordon Moakes and Matt Tong – changes which frontman Kele Okereke said were essential in ensuring their longevity.

“At the start of 2013, when we were touring Four, I had kinda had enough of this vibe,” he told news.com.au. “I felt like if things didn’t change it was the point for me to step away and do something else with my life. But things did change, I feel better for it.”

“Obviously everyone is aware of the line-up situation, this stuff is just coming to light now but we dealt with this two years ago. We had our fights and our conversations two years ago.”
