The track co-written by Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller for the new Monkees album ‘Good Times!‘ has been confirmed.

The song in question is entitled ‘Birth Of An Accidental Hipster‘, reports bestclassicbands.com, and joins more tracks written by special guests like Neil Diamond and Rivers Cuomo on the album which is being released to help celebrate the band’s 50th anniversary on May 27th.

“This is one of the most exciting Monkees projects I’ve been involved in for decades,” Micky Dolenz said in February.

“Working with Adam Schlesinger has been a pure delight and the opportunity to sing a duet with my old buddy, Harry Nilsson, is just beyond cool!”
